Not that hyped for this group. Of course, I cheer for Ryung, if his play is still so great as it was in rounds 1 and 2 of Proleague. But can't wait for the usual Thursday's madness!!!
Would anyone be able to tell me where this specific event will be held?
I have a buddy travelling in Seoul who wants to check out some games, I'd love to be able to point him in the right direction.
I've tried checking out some VODs of the previous games so far, but I haven't been able to find an instance where Tasteless or Artosis mention the venue.

jjk vs tactician is a hard call for me.. i always want myungsik to do well, but jjk is jjk and if he's playing i have to give him all of my power. 100% behind ryung he has shown some really solid tvz and i think he can knock out soulkey. not invested in the first match but i'll definitely watch to see if kr zvp has developed recently.

Well, Myunsik is good enough to be fielded sometimes whereas jjk is not ever fielded so there's that

Jjakji has come out twice and lost to Curious and Gumiho.
Also, to be fair KT is incredibly stubborn in changing up their established roles and letting some of their lesser players come out unlike SKT. I remember last season they literally played like the same 5 players in almost every match. It was Flash and Zest 100% with some combination of TY/Stats/Life. They even kept throwing Flash out when he was playing terribly for awhile and kept sending Zest to constantly die in ace matches. It was insane.

I don't really get Symbol as a player. In 2012 he was dangerous because his macro was really good (of course it was easier but it was easier for every zerg and he was the one looking dangerous). The way he's playing now, he could have 20-30 more supply in average just by not getting supply blocked...

Symbol has looked like a retired player for a long time now, no idea why he hasn't tbh

He was an auto include, probably going to include him again

I would like to include him again, but if he is 5 points or more, I will not do it.
Tankivac against Zergs is just so painful to watch. It's like watching someone bring a bazooka into a knife fight. And that comparison with Boxer? C'mon that's quite insulting to the Emperor's legacy. Tank drops in BW was way harder to execute and true pimp play.
Sorry to be a Debbie downer, but I really feel that unit attacks and abilities need to be toned down a bit in LoTV. This is not a balance whine, but a game design whine.

I feel like Myungsik called that too early, but maybe he just wanted to keep his momentum going into a game 4 rather than risk losing a drawn out game 3?

With no production, I think he knew he had lost to that drop.

He was gonna lose his whole army in the attack and all his production was unpowered (or about to be), so he had no way to get rid of the drop in his main. And his attack would have left Jjakji with one base worth of SCVs most likely, which is more than enough in this situation

We will have 3 bad Zerg players? We have a lot of players but none of them are good enough to be our 4th man, we just can't have as much depth as SKT man

DRG proved to me he can still play last time he had a resurgence (in proleague), better for sure than the other two

That would be sick
It would, wouldn't it? Unfortunately I believe DRG is one of those guys that doesn't like Proleague (KeSPA?)
Yeah he doesn't like Proleague unfortunately. I think the only reason he'd have to join a Proleague team would be if he desperately doesn't want to retire. But honestly last I saw him he didn't seem super enthusiastic.
By PL results Leenock should definitely be KT's 4th player (although I don't mind giving the other guys another chance every now and then), he has more wins than jjakji, Losira, Trust and SpeeD combined.

More wins than 0 win is just sad man
Well he's beaten KeeN, Super and herO. The other 4 nobody. Sounds harsh but I think it's fair to say that outside of practice they're useless for Proleague.
Besides, I think Leenock is actually a pretty good player for Proleague's BO1 format, because he's not afraid to use really weird builds.
What's this business about Artosis trying to drum up hype for Dark vs Innovation? Am I the only one who thinks this is going to be a complete one-sided stomp with the way Inno has been looking lately?

It's still two big names. And honestly TvZ is the only matchup Inno has looked alright in in LotV.

Bogus' TvZ is kind of a mystery atm. He has a good record, but he hasn't played any recent games against Zerg, it's a low sampling, and most of the Zergs he's played haven't exactly been top-tier. The hype is carried by his historic image of being the best TvZ this game has seen, if anything. It'll be an interesting match to see if he's finally adjusted to the expansion.

You're not cool for calling him his Brood War ID.
aw
You would be cool if you used his real name though

Tastosis with the Family Guy reference...."High school is such a serious thing...these problems matter" hahahahaha have watched One Tree Hill and that was an apt summary
