It only can punish protoss if he goes super fast third.But with 2 bases timing into 3rd,you only can defend. You can't make a 2 base timing attack as terran. Terran always takes 3rd later as toss as he otherwise would die to a 2 bae timing from toss (you see the assymetry). Now in HOTS/WOL terran took 3rd baser faster but that kinda makes sense as toss had a stronger scaling army. Then his third will delay cause he invests in 2-3 pylons first. No the 3rd is started (along with pylons) long before terarns is there (with medivacs). Further, you understand that terran - if he moves out and commits early - he dies too a warp prism counter right? | ||
