Glorious banner. I'd predict herO 3-1 Cure and Dream 0-3TY, but after the PL matches I don't what to think anymore. Probably herO 2-3 Cure and Dream 2-3 TY.
Also, that's way too much Terran for me to handle. Why don't we have more players from the superior races in here today?

Zest 2-0'd him the other day.
They just need to get better.
Zest is Zest.
Zest is Best, too.
Best is Zest, too as we heard yesterday.

meaning Best = Zest * Zest? I am OK with that, George Best was a beast when he played.

That's really sad. Can you imagine players having to do something in relation to their nationality before a series? The foreigner hype would go through the roof when you'd see MarineLorD dancing the French Can-Can with a baguette under his armpit.

Watching the latest development in our country, this could mean a new chance for Czech SC2 players. Because if they were to do the national thing, it would mean nowadays that they would just beat the crap out of everyone who looks or talks different, which includes Koreans.
Honestly, the whole concept of "nationality" gets uglier every day, could we just drop it already?

Nah, that's still a minority thing. Some would probably just yell at them and that's it. The aggressive part is really minor, but media tries to make it much bugger.
Ty should still beat Dream though. Most of Ty's recent losses have been from early game. Pretty sure we are gonna see macro games here. Against Maru (who imo is best terran atm) Ty really should have won.

You literally have weeks to prepare for every match in the SSL and GSL. (I dont care about proleague no blizzcon). I wonder if it's an advantage or disadvantage for the top players. In NA/EU tourneys you literally play everyday back to back sometimes 2 opponents per day. A WCS tournament is over in 1 week.
EU players kinda have to have to prepare generally instead of opponent specific.
For example, Cure prepared for Terran vs Hero. He didn't sound like he prepared TvP. But literally only for the player.

Nerchio vs Polt, WCS semifinals. That day I learned to never trust a foreigner ever again.
Wolf tell me more about how Dream knows when 2 attack into 2 siege tanks (that are every bronze leaguer will identify as a free kill) and therefore will win the series.

About as likely as the next GSL going to Stephano
have you checked the bracket? Its a long shot, but then again his biggest obstacle is Zest who he has a winning record against. Sure Zest looks good, but so he did in 2014 and got ROFLstomped. and taejas TvT is great

Games from 2014 don't mean anything right now. Zest has a 95% winrate in TvP and has already beaten Taeja this year. Taeja is a massive underdog.

no doubt about it. thats why I said Zest is currently his biggest obstacle towards the GSL title. I cant wait for friday Ro8 in LoTV is very good for Tajeas legacy and considering hes practically retired. but.... he can do better. and I hope he will

You realize your talking as if Taeja is the second best player after Zest, right? You seem like someone who makes assesments based on your feelings.

I didn't get that impression, he just said Zest would be the biggest obstacle, which is true

no no. I really dont think so. I'm just saying that his TvT was always stellar and a terran awaits in the finals he will probably loose against Zest, but If he wins I think we can finally start to dismiss his chances every round.

You can say to every player who meets the best player. It's a comment without any meaning.

Tvt is differnet in LOTV. His lotv tvt results aren't good, like losing to Keen 4-2 (who is pretty bad).

you actually can't say that about every player who meets the "best player" since matchup specializations exist, even still I don't think it's without meaning, it means that Zest would be the hardest player for Taeja, I'm sorry that's not some life changing comment for you but that doesn't mean it's "without meaning"
No artosis, this is where you are wrong. This isn't beautiful positionally play. This is TY not taking the opportunity to kill his opponent when far far ahead.

Zest is the best player in the world in all matchups. And Taeja has much worse TvT t han ty for example. So what is your point?

Taeja would probably have less trouble with TY than with Zest, that is the point

When ahead, get more ahead!
And its misapplied by Artosis here. When you are 50 army supply ahead you have a guaranteed win as long as you are protected against a base trade scenario (lots of turrets).
It's like trading a 99% win to a 90% win scenario.
I watched a lot of Ty's recent games, and its his biggest flaw atm. It seems to me he is less interested in actually winning and more intereted in becoming Artosis favourite player.

Yeah giving Dream a shot at getting back in it. Not ideal.

Meh, Dream just sat there sieged, when the proper move is to have some of your tanks in medivacs, because otherwise exactly what happened happens. Tanks in medivacs > sieged tanks.

And this games shows why Zest will beat Ty. If Ty should survive early game and be ahead in midgame, he will just make Liberation Zones + mass turrets out on the middle of the map while harassing with bio units.
As long as Zest denies the drop play, he is just gonna win late game with Tempest/HT against Raven/Viking.
Ravens do not actually makes terrans beat protoss late game. All they do is to make the game stall out so Ty can run around with bio squads and hit and run. But again that only works if protoss doesn't have defensive high templars + cannons around the map.

Yeah, when Stork wins over INnoVation the viewer count was so high I blame JD losing to Leenock for the low viewer count

So I just saw Dream vs TY game 2. Unless Dream thought TY had just trololol Maka'd a rax to mindgame him, Dream's reaction to what he scouted doesn't make sense. Like, if your opponent is that good, trying to hold 2-rax reaper with just marines & SCVs but no bunker is foolhardy.

It's kind of funny because in 2 of the 3 games with Dream vs TY, Dream was in a great position to win the games and both games he screwed up by not watching his medanks/medivacs and got them obliterated because TY cut them off with marines..I can understand that scenario happening the first time but you would think he would learn from his mistake and make sure it doesn't happen again.. those were incredibly costly mistakes.. I really love watching Dream play and he's wearing on me.. he's still young at 19 compared to other pros and I think he could be great.. just has to clean up those little mistakes.. good mechanics but his game sense/awareness is poor..

The one where Bomber repeatedly lost like 6 medivacs flying over marines or getting trapped (comparing to Dream being ahead and then needlessly losing medivacs and losing the game cause of it)
Yeah really gotta be grateful that I can wake up an hour after the broadcast has ended, and it's already available in HD. such a better job than last year

I actually don't like how spotv does it cause all the separate videos are easy spoilers when you see there's no game 5 or when you see game 2 specifically is a really short video, stuff like that, also they often post the videos out of order which means it even worse. I prefer the GSL way where it's just one big VOD for the whole day, I can skip through it if I want. But yea Twitch buffering issues on VODs is really annoying, Livestreamer mostly fixes that.

If that's your problem use the Azubu Vods for Spotv. They are like twitch vods without the buffering.

That's why I watch the VOD's on the Afreeca global channel every time, it doesn't ever have that problem:
