wow what a hold by zest. even though i knew the result my heart was in my throat when all those hydras descended on zest's third and all i saw was zealots..

Just rewatched that game, that was seriously shaky from both players. Zest hit like 2600 minerals at one point, drg had 14 hydras afking against an army and dying to nexus cannon.
Guess wolfs right.

Keep in mind that it was a 10gate all in. You warp in 10 stalkers per cycle and burn 1250 minerals each. It's not that rare to see players float money during that sort of attack. Blink microing, forcefielding, warping in and maintaining constant chrono on all gates (that's the part Zest didn't do very well, if he had he wouldn't have floated money during the attack) isn't all that easy.

Look at the part before drg attacks his third with that hydra flock, if it was the middle of the fight I'd agree with you (protoss macro inherently takes more time away from the screen to do, can't just hotkey a building and hold a button i guess), but there wasn't a whole heap of fighting happening there.

Zest has never had world class macro like herO or Rain.
But that's not his strength anyway and protoss allows you to have weak macro
