How can he embarass himself in that group?
He plays innovation, one of the best players out there, who he played recently and although the score was 2-0 innovation, it was flash throwing both games in the end, not innovation dominating them. Shortly after that, Flash made Maru look like a Schoolboy.
The group is 3 Terrans, 1 Protoss. The Prorotss (Parting) has to prepare for one matchup.
Playing the race that is hardest to predict (so many possible cheeses, openers) and playing against the race that is easiest to predict, Parting will advance pretty sure. And if it is going to be Inno or Flash next... I fear it will be Inno, but anything can happen.

Partially agreed.
But there is Parting, expected to advance as well
Innovation expected to advance.
SC2 Flash isn't BW Flash, since SC2 is a much more volatile game and one small error can cost you the game, while in BW it usually costed you some eco or army but you could make it back when in advance you made a few good things and forced the other to make the small errors.
Also his multitasking really isn't always on top. However recently he has better days again.
I wish him to advance, but I don't really expect it in that group. The game is just too volatile, his playstyle to predictable. If you know you play flash, you prepare a build, hide some stuff, kill him with it.

Not living up to unrealistic expectations is not an embarrassment. He's still the most successful player in both Starcrafts combined (not counting JD konging up the foreign scene).
