Strait up though, this is probably the most important tournament so for in 2015. I mean think about it, this is the first big tournament in Archon Mode, first big tournament since the macro mechanics patch, and perhaps the last tournament of MC. Plus that epic oGs-TL reunion between one of the most excellent brotoss duos in history. (More on that when I bust out a preview article in a few hours haha).
So yes. In short, this LR OP is a work in progress. But somebody had to do it.

terran has a mineral problem in the current patch i think. need hellbats to buffer mech units but they eat up all the minerals
journey and reality seem to be playing pretty close to hots though. maybe they need to get more experimental

Yeah, you've gotta work to get to 200/200. In learning to watch Starbow & SC:BW, not being able to just turtle off 2-3 bases to max really changes the game dynamics. And we're seeing the "fun" of watching all of the techs get used in different ways.
For Archon specifically, the micro. Lord, the micro. We finally get to see some of the awesome things that happen when you can use the combo-attack moves and micro both areas at the same time.

I think the biggest thing is the macro changes. No chrono or mules and nerfed injects. Now Zerg has more gas than larva, terran can't shoot up to 3000 mins income and protoss can't produce 20 phoenix in 10 seconds.

The removal of the macro boosters shift any explosion in resources until much later. It shuts down most early all-ins (especially with the 12 worker start), and it removes the advantage to just turtle. A zerg killing 20 SCVs in a run-by has gotten to the point, in HOTS, of being only slightly a scratch if the Terran is on 3 bases already. Now getting your worker line slaughtered is brutal.
Though late-game in-base Scouting is going to be massive in LOTV. We already know what 10+ 3/3 Zealots can do to a base. Just wait until they warp in faster and do more damage. Going to be ugly! (But it'll also be a commitment rather than just a mineral burn.)
