There are protoss players who seem to just randomly do cheeses and win, those are people like Has or Hitman. But that's not who sOs is. What he does isn't just something he comes up with randomly. Basically what sOs does is that he does a cheese to force the other player into a specific position which will be weak vs the next attack and then he continues like that. The Cactus game was a perfect example of that. The cannons opened the way for the DT attack into the main. sOs is a strategical genius and nothing else which is why watching his play is so gorgeous. It's selling him short to pretend that it's just random 'toss cheese.

fell asleep after the first PartinG-Solar game so just finished watching the rest of the series. it's really heartwarming to see godlike innovation still fall to protoss aggression. sOs is the master of mindgames and strategic protoss play. still think his execution and engagements are on the lower end of the top tier protoss but that actually makes his strengths stand out even more.

How was his series against Inno? Worth the watch?

It would've been better if sOs went up against Parting in the finals. Has those two locked horns before? I can't seem to think of any major matches between them. Should be an epic PvP.

And sOs' finals record must be perfect and near-perfect? He's like the opposite of a Kong - is there a term for it?

sOs played vs PartinG on some Red Bull tournament, I believe it was just after memorable Blizzcon 2013
