INnoVation never was in any way innovative, imo. He just always did what was considered to be the best at any given time in any given matchup. Back in 2013 it was 4M, nowadays it's Mech. I'm not at all surprised, tbh. Other players figure out what's the best, INnoVation does the same, but better.

INno basically pioneered this new mech style. He was the first to really use it at top korean level.

Innovation was just the guy with the most exposure and mechanically best play. This is why many builds were seen more often in his play. Because he was seen more often.

I wanted Inno to win. That way, we would've avoided another TvZ...

When I watched Gumiho he played a more timing based mech style. I could be wrong though, haven't seen that many games of him.

To be honest, I'm not sick from watching TvZ, but watching people bitching about TvZ in the streams and LRs

The reason for BCs nowadays instead of ravens is that they are safer vs the ultralisk/hydralisk type of armies than the straight to raven transition. But the general idea is that you get BC/Viking and then still go into ravens.

So can we just agree that Inno "popularised" this new turtle mech style against Zerg?

Perhaps for the latter, "popularise" is a better word. Much like how Bisu "popularised" DT-sair when he beat Savior in BW. So can we just agree that Inno "popularised" this new turtle mech style against Zerg? this sounds ok
