I myself am really happy they are back in SC2 and makes me really sad that I won't be able to make it there.

This talk happens due to the trend we are observing for a while now. Sc2's importance outside of Blizzards organization is apparently shrinking. There is nothing wrong with realizing that.

There is nothing wrong with realizing that. But in this case it's not shrinking but growing, since there was no Asus Rog Summer sc2 tournament at all in 2014. We went from nothing to a 15k tournament, but people are still complaining. Well I am glad to see sc2 back there and just don't see the point in comparing our scene to games from other genres. Hype!

There are tons of easy shitty crappy free to play bullshit games out there that noone wants and noone plays. Though i like SC2 more, Hearthstone is a masterpiece!

In this case maybe, but what about DH for instance?

What about Gfinity, a brand new tournament circuit picking up sc2? Does that make up for no sc2 at DH summer? Is IEM still having sc2 in the next season a good sign for a 5 year old RTS? Is the Korean scene doing better than ever? I don't know, but this is not the place to discuss the general sc2 scene and whether it's dying or not, if you want to do that make a dedicated thread. But I think you should rather not, because it feels like we already had hundreds of those. This OP says sc2 will be back at Asus Rog Summer with a 15k tournament. That's what this thread is about and I think it's great news.

No other RTS even competes with sc2 (a part from possibly Star 1). But you can't compare an RTS to a Card Game or a MOBA. All hail sc2!
