PartinG's PvZ is by far his weakest matchup atm
wah.. it used to be when he seemed clueless against SH but there's no way I see soultrain losing. zergs are pretty fucked in current ZvP in general.

I know it doesn't make a lot of sense but a vast majority of PartinG's relative struggles (relative) this year have been to zerg players.

It's a shame he doesn't get more respect He gets quite a lot of respect, as he is considered to be among the best, probably top 5 Zergs right now. His problem is inconsistency, but I can't really name one Zerg player today that is consistent. I don't understand this. He's like 11-4 in proleague and has just finished ro8/ro8 in individual leagues. Before that in 2014 he was a solid individual league player, albeit still a relative newcomer to elite level play. so he has better results than dark who has been hyped to the moon and back. He doesn't play a mutaless TvZ tho. i was just trying to rile people up. dark is pretty transcendent in ZvT. plus it's fun to bash SKT players

but really Dark had some results (Kespa cup, IEM, ..) rogue only has a 3rd place at MSI beat it or something. The hype he gets matches the result he had, he's not overhyped, but not underhyped either.
Let's let him grow before we build him a statue

wasn't that pre SH patch when he was even losing to people like destiny?

He was actually really mediocre vs Zerg in WoL, until soultrain ofcourse :D

I truly, truly don't understand sometimes pro players.......sometimes they are total noobs, they seem to lack the basics of sc2...and sometimes they are brilliant, with great mechanics and strategies.. weird world....weird game....weird everything else....

It's form which takes into account his most recent games primarily (which are largely after the patch). It's also true that PartinG has been knocked out of the gsl a ton in the past by zerg players.
I'm not implying his PvZ is bad, only that Rogue has the best shot of knocking him out. Which I still find highly unlikely

He mostly all-ins and that means that it all depends on the maps and Rogue's scouting.
I can definitely see PartinG losing to Rogue, but I think that other scenario is more realistic.

It's still by far his worst MU. E.g. he had minor trouble beating HyuN at Dreamhack while crushing Rain and GuMiho and he basically traded series with Hydra post SH-removal.

I'm not sure of specific stats atm, but I would actually like to see the current Korean PvZ winrate.
Even though theoretically Protoss should be fairly imbalanced, it feels that the maps are quite good for most zergs (although that has changed a bit of the very recent with the changed map pools/conflicting ones between proleague/individual leages)
Furthermore we're seeing a huge explosion in Zerg players taking gold bases in the MU, which has really made the protoss players lives quite a bit tougher.

GUMIGOD FIGHTING! Time to crush this Parting noobie

Interested to see what Gumi will do this series. I somehow feel mech even though PartinG spanked him last time he tried it

Mech v Protoss? Only if you have a deathwish.
