I'm rather mad at EG that JD is still with them that guy has potential and should play under KeSPA

I wanted CJ or JAGW.Jaedong so hard

Yeah when I was at WCS EU I was told by a prestigious TL user (lol) about rumours that JD would go back and I wasn't to tell anyone but that bastard obviously lied

Yea someone told me that too. I told him Jaedong isn't Yugioh. He doesnt have that competitive fire.

He was so competitive that he ended up at ROOT gaming if I remember correctly

So competitive he spent years as a mediocre player, was mocked by his teammates, but still kept at it. He was the last man standing for a team that never seemed to give a shit about him. When he and Jaedong were given a choice, Jaedong chose to go to WCS NA, Yugioh chose to stay in Korea.

Retired after a broken heart. He tried all his life and failed. Not everyone gets the end of duckdeok. Some bet their entire life and lose. Not everyone gets the spolight. Not everyone gets the love of fans. But I at least won't ever denigrate how far he was willing to go to try to be the best in Korea in a world where every other player that had his options ran.

Well one had good decision making, the other not

Well selling your dignity in exchange for EG money and irrelevancy doesn't sound too great to me when you're in the Top3 of "Best players of all BW" ranking

Well admit that as far as 2013 is concerned that was a good plan. Only from 2014 on it became a bad idea to stay on EG.

It doesn't even make since, mutas in low numbers can't afford to fight anything. It's not like you're that safe once you do have them out.

Vulnerable to attack before, and after.

it's considered a BO win vs banshee openings and is still a very popular build because it's safe vs hellbat/banshee

So it's especially good on that map since it's hard for terran to take a third, so most do a hellion-banshee opening or something like it.

considering most of the best kespa sc2 players were b-teamers in bw or very recently promoted to a-team (bogus, soulkey, mvp if you want to go back to 2010) i don't think that jaedong was missing out on much.

I have a dream that one day EG will be relevant again in SC2 and that they'll summon sick foreigners that can compete with koreans

They literally only care about Jaedong and sort of Huk soooo lol

It's like having a cash cow on your team for marketing purposes

Well one had good decision making, the other not

Well selling your dignity in exchange for EG money and irrelevancy doesn't sound too great to me when you're in the Top3 of "Best players of all BW" ranking

If only he could have showed his full potential like stork and fanta did.
What he have up was a a career that was at almost rock bottom and in exchange he got to travel the world.

What happened to him?

Retired after a broken heart. He tried all his life and failed. Not everyone gets the end of duckdeok. Some bet their entire life and lose. Not everyone gets the spolight. Not everyone gets the love of fans. But I at least won't ever denigrate how far he was willing to go to try to be the best in Korea in a world where every other player that had his options ran.

That story makes me so sad .

thats a shame, heard there were some pretty good games
