I'm not afraid of being wrong. But my gut feeling is that Protoss is just so much better than Terran once they get their stuff up and running with 3/3 and all of that jazz. The only terran I remember who dares going ultra late game was Taeja Hack recently showcased amazing late game tvp yep, Hack is the only example I have in my head and I specifically remember the casting saying that it was weird to see a Terran go into late game like that. Which is kind of true since, in the starcraft I've been watching recently, I don't remember late game TvP all that much. Just that game Hack showed and one game isn't enough to draw conclusions. E: actually INnoVation probably has the best lategame TvP, his army control and positioning is pretty sick when it gets to those scenarios I look that up then, thanks That's because PvT is extremely midgame oriented atm. Terran is incredibly strong in the midgame and protoss tailors their builds to survive, not transition to lategame quickly. Most of the time that's why games are decided in the midgame.
Yeah that + the fact Terrans love doing scv pulls.

Dang, Trap ain't a one trick pony. Fantasy could have played that a lot better though, too many straight bio units, not enough vikings and ghosts I guess

Trap is looking really good!He outplayed Fantasy pretty hard,just keep playing like this.

Yep, once the game gets to that stage its basically impossible to win as terran without perfect ghost + viking control. Cure and Innovation are very good at it, but you rarely see head on engagements with 4+ colussus go in the way of terran

That game was all Wolf hype. Trap had it won and fucked up badly. That's the only reason Hack won that game.

Only if you have late game understanding of TvP like Taeja did in 2013 and 2014.
Taeja has always had the sickest viking/ghost imo

mb fantasy doesn't know how to play lategame but ye even tod said there was too much bio on the ground he should have loaded up these 3 medivacs way earlier and sacrificed them to remax on ghost viking only maybe also take more bases, planetary at the gold etc

I kind of agree; Trap lost a ton of templars at a poorly placed pylon, and didn't expand past that left side base at all. That kind of composition at 30 minutes into a game should never work

Yeah, I can't remember him ever losing if he got to the mass orbital ghost/viking stage. And he was better than most people at getting there as well.

Terran is never favored in the late game unless the Protoss is making very big mistakes. If you can afford to build 20+ Ghosts then you already entered the late game with a huge advantage.
