Just look at that bonjwa-like PvT win rate. It's not even funny.

Life just happens to play the same way. Would rather watch a 4-1 of different build order games than watch a 4-3 macro/micro heavy games with essentially the same unit composition and story line (i.e TvZ). Diversity is what I want as a viewer.

This is the last balance change done to this game. After June 5th of 2014, Zest had the following placements: top 8 Code S season 2, top 4 Code S season 3, top 4 Hot6 Cup, 2nd at IEM Toronto, 1st at KeSPA Cup. This is a month-long period of solid placements even after all balance updates were done. I've already gone through and disseminated that argument in a different thread, no need to derail this one (which is about the GSL) and explain to you how you're incorrect. Stay on topic please.

soO would be in the "not yet" category, he is a KeSPA-switch guy, itsn't he? Symbol is a pretty good name to put here, I think he is on of the most often overlooked great players. Honestly, as much as I like TaeJa, I was never truly convinced by him. He was definitely the best "travelling Korean" for some time, but there was this something missing when he played in GSL. But he is also definitely up there. And silly me, I somehow thought Maru has a trophy.

Were these macro games or was 2 of the Wins Bullshit Builds from our Guides here and 2 of them "protossed"?

Taeja was pretty clearly the best player when exactly? I admit, i am probably biased against Taeja, but i can't remember this being true EVER ![]()

From December till now, Life's ZvZ vs Koreans is at 72%, still 10% lower than PartinG's vT. From January of 2014 till now, Life's ZvZ vs Koreans is at... 72%. Literally within 1% of difference in more than a year. What in the hell.

There's plenty of bullshit, but PartinG's just on a whole 'nother level. It's not ambiguous. I was frustrated after he 2-0'd Maru, but tonight's display was just damn impressive (except for that WM).

This percentage in a mirror MU is to be held in higher regard than a PvT winrate IMO. Mirrors have straight up build order losses and a lot more cheese.

Life vT is good cause it's Life and he's incredibly good in general, but IMHO he's not that good at this match up in particular, he's not as smart as when he's playing againt P for instance. Hyun as I think a better approach of the match up, even if he doesn't have the crazy mechanics of Life.

I usually only look at winrates against koreans AND offline. You think online should be rated just as highly?

You think online should be rated just as highly? Well, without online, your sample size takes such a huge cut (within the relevant time frame for PartinG, at least). But I don't know, is there a compelling reason to disregard them? It's the same player pool.
