Maru is like... a favorite. Don't get me wrong, everyone can win this. But Maru has what it takes to go to the top, I believe it! This tournament could be great.

Winner matchups Life vs Innovation Flash vs Trap TaeJa vs Dark herO vs Cure
Runner up matchups Maru vs Patience Zest vs Hydra Solar vs Bbyong Rain vs Hydra
I'd much rather be against someone from the runner up opponents list if I was them Absolutely. Either way you have to have a better system than that. The eye test has to be a factor Strange times when people say they actually favor facing Zest over facing Dark or Life or Innovation. Feels strange. Zest was a runner up. He had to face Hydra, not the other way around Flash as the winner of the same tournament has to face Trap

let's not forget that life fell behind in every single game vs a hellbat push...

Except for game 5. He held the Hellbats flawlessly.

Patience should be OK, it will wake Maru up. Dark will be scary, it will warm Maru up. Flash or Fantasy should be manageable, it will give Maru momentum. Regardless of who the other finalist is, it will give Maru victory.

This is it. No one is exempt from this rule. Not Life, Innovation, and even herO

I mean i understand that their seeding makes kinda sense, but still -.- Tournaments should seed so we have a high probability of a good final, the rest doesn't matter. There are still a lot of names at the top and bottom. Flash hype round #150, Trap who even aced for JAGW, Maru... all at the bottom. And Innovation, herO still at the top left. And those are just the biggest names still in it... Well when pretty much all the 16 players are great that's natural But if you have a ro16 matchup between 2 of the best 5 players in the world, i don't know kev

Some fights he was down on both supply and upgrades and actually came out 30 supplies ahead, I thought I was out of my mind. At his peak in 2013 he was the best splitter though (or at least top 3). I wonder what happened.

Dominance of the scene by one player or two players will actually help popularize SC2. Exactly, SC2 feels like such a crapshoot sometimes in who I does well in tournament and all these inconsistent players... a true top dog would be great
