Well Dream did play a different style though. For all 7 games he did cc first into banshee and 3rd cc. Inno has favored drops so far. Also the map pool in SSL is way out of date, with generally terran favored maps like Nimbus and Foxtrot

Builds and tactics matter. Maybe Inno would look like Dream having Life playing the same as yesterday.

Or Inno has bad day, all in all - we won't have a TvT finals in GSL...

Exactly, Life overextended when down in upgrades. Seriously if you are down in upgrades against T then it is a good idea pushing the issue like he did against Dream. When ahead or equal in upgrades ofcourse Life is retreating and playing it safe, its two different strats. If Life played like this in the games yesterday he would have been destroyerd even harder.

Again, Innovation's widow mines did not get good shots during the important engagements. Casters don't seem to have noticed it, though. I really think that if the widow mine shots go differently during the 2-3 important main army engagements during both of those games, Innovation could have won. All you need is good widow mine shots, which gives you time to kill the zerg's 4th base while they try to remax/make more banes, and then you back off and you're ahead. But he never got the widow mine shots that allowed him to do that.

I give Life credit for always running the right amount of lings into Inno's army first, so that the widow mines shoot them and do friendly fire, and he never seems to run too few in so that they die before the mine shoots. It's pretty noticeable. Watch for it in the third match (if they play the same styles at least), Inno's widow mine shots during his first push will decide the fate of Life's 4th, which decides the game.
