"just delay the match", yeah i am sure it's completely reasonable to delay everything when the schedule is probably pretty tight there. We are talking about spotv, not some relatively flexible streaming platform. It sucks that we don't get the games, but to argue that "it's kespa's fault and Kespa evil bla bla bla" is really weird and stupid. I'am agree. There is rules and it's must to be equal for everyone. Proleague isn't online tournament for $1,000 prizepool. It's TV show, that must be aired in time. One side of the today games are violating the rules, so punishment is ok. Or next time every team can be late with some reasons. I don't think that Kespa must to be ashame for the ST delay. For today i cheered for ST and waited the games online like everyone here.

For a Bo9 series that could go all 9 games, where every match could conceivably last half an hour, and that's completely disregarding any technical difficulties that could come up? That's your theory? I've never seen a KeSPA event get shut down or postponed because there wasn't enough time to close it out, and you're suggesting they couldn't have waited for a traffic jam to get resolved? Lol. If time is really that tight, dock a point from ST for every half hour they miss. Do something. But don't just play it off like it couldn't matter less. If they got confirmation from ST that the traffic jam is so bad, they won't be able to get to the studio for another 5 hours, guaranteed, then SAY THAT IN THE ANNOUNCEMENT. Transparency isn't rocket science.

Transparency isn't rocket science. It is tight cause tomorrow there is already the next match. So the games HAVE TO be played today no matter what. It is tight cause even when they have some extra time here and there (cause they can't know how many games are needed) you still have to start around the expected time for it to work. I agree about the transparency, maybe that would stop some of the stupid "hate" here.

Transparency isn't rocket science. Um, quite simply, they couldn't, and frankly, to am extent, shouldn't care less... They are a legitimate business running a professional tournament with guidelines, rules, and regulations. When a player or team breaks any of these, consequences are adhered to. Welcome to the world of order and civilization... if there is bad weather, plans must be made to leave early. Did you know that you can get fired from your job for being late to work? Even if there is a traffic jam or a blizzard, a company has every right to uphold their guidelines for what is acceptable in their workplace. If there is rush hour traffic, a blizzard, construction, a traffic accident, etc, the individual (or in this case, the team) is responsible for making the proper arrangements to leave on time. Oh, and btw, your company does not have to provide you with proper transparency. (Of course transparency goes all long way in the promotion of PR) It takes me 22 minutes to commute to work everyday. I leave no later than 45 minutes before my shift to ensure an OK time arrival. If I make an appointment during rush hour, I leave extremely early to ensure promptness. For a professional not to do so is absurd. I also was sad that I stayed up on my day off to watch JinAir play and the match wasn't played, but shit happens and we live.

Why couldn't they do that this time ? Starting a show one hour late is not that bad and everyone would have understood. It's not lile StarTale was responsible at all, there was an accident in a tunnel -__- I will never understand KeSPA. That was one player arriving late , as opposed to the whole team arriving late . The reason Asians are so economically successful is because they go by the book and enforce all laws. Bending the rules would put a disruption in the flow of things and cause delays and mishaps, slowing things down. Rules are rules and you can't go against them. If Startale makes it to playoffs next time, they better make damn sure that they avoid things like snow and traffic. This forfeit could have been easily prevented by simply getting some hotel rooms near the venue. Tsk tsk Startale.
