Just MC doing the only thing he is good at: all-ins and cheese. The guy pretty much built his entire career around that playstyle. If every cheesy player was as successful as MC, do you think he would be as well-known as he is? There isn't a single person who is as cheesy as MC, not on this level. It's his main strength actually: you never know what he is going to do. He is completely unpredictable. The reason I don't like his playstyle much is because I prefer macro-oriented games with lots of multitasking and action all over the map. Well yeah you can dislike his playstyle. But the way he plays his all-ins and cheeses is killer-instinct. That's why he won so much by cheesing so much (and with such an impressive consistency). It also helps that Protoss cheese has a large chance of winning even when it gets scouted relatively early. The whole protoss race seems to be built around early-game (immortal) timings and all-ins, or late-game deathballs that are extremely hard to beat. And thats bad? All the protoss all ins are beatable if you know they are coming. On of the things that makes MC so dangerous is that really good at knowing whats going to happen in a fight before that fight happens and will commit or not commit based on that. Take the last game. His super far proxy got scouted and he still went for because Fantasy attacked the Pylon and then was right that under timewarp and with the core and stalkers the oracle could beat the marine group. It did. The game ended there and it was just a bleed out after

Welp, let's try not to judge Tastosis on their ZvZ casting. I haven't heard a decent ZvZ cast in a thousand years.

Perfect example why gsl style groups are inferior to round robin MC best player in the group, stay Salty. No he is not, that's more than absurd. He just got lucky with penguin as first match There can be some debate about him, but this is getting ridicolous. You don't quadruple Fantasy's bw earnings by being lucky and MC did that. He is the best RTS player in that group and by far the best SC2 player.
Edit : Daaaa I'm dumb, missread it

Sometimes I wonder if Tasteless and Artosis even know there's a game going on.

ZvZ is just so hard for me to watch, guess I should off-race Zerg a bit to understand it? Or just ignore it?

Snute is super good at explaining ZvZ and making it interesting!

MC advancing is surprising, but he has very strong allins.
Penguin has pretty weak zvz vs mutas. Hopefully rogue is warmed up from his micro errors earlier and gets a rematch.

muta vs muta :D
to think I would actually miss this brand of ZvZ.

Haha xD Yeah it is annoying at work as the local bank here is a joke and queue is out the door until around 1ish so i normally go around then to pick my food up. But then by the time i get to panini shop or said lunch shop of the day they have ran out of stuff TT

Well understanding it certainly makes it more fun to watch. If you want to put the effort in, go for it. :D

Not crazy about putting important tech structures in the forward part of the natural.

There aren't that many players with both the intelligence and balls to play like he does. It wasn't just luck. MC is still pretty relevant in SC2 in 2015 and you can just look at his close series with herO recently for how good he is. His strength isn't his micro/macro but as others have said his killer instinct. I am not saying that it is "pure luck", but MC really isn't that good anymore. Just look at his stats against koreans in the last few months. Stats don't lie. He somehow advanced today, but i still don't doubt that he has absolutely no chance to get far in gsl. GSL groups surely helped him today though... But whatever, gogo rogue!

Are you saying that Rogue is the best player in the group? Rouge is the best player in the group though. Edit: or MC. Not sure how good he really is, hard to tell right now. Rouge=makeup :D And I agree he's the best in the group, but imo it's no big upset that either Fantasy or MC would beat him. GSL had Rouge in the past though + Show Spoiler +
