So happy for ForGG, really deserved it after such a long time. The finals were absolutely awesome to watch, best games I´ve seen in a long time. And him being so emotional made me a fan of him even more.

And i laughed so hard at TaeJa getting 10k again, lol

This has been such a long time coming. When forgg first transitioned I really think he went under the radar. He was one of the BW greats, one of the few terrans who've ever beaten jaedong in a finals and here he was moving straight into europe. With a pedigree like that I thought he'd get his first big tournament win much sooner. It's bittersweet that he got this win, he definitely deserves this win for the raw talent and the amount he's contributed to the european sc2 scene.

Wow, what a great tournament and what an AWESOME final! Game 3 was one of the best games of the year for sure, also the last game was great with the way forgg faked mech and went for a sick bio/mech build that reminded me of a build of MarineKing from about 2 years ago where he'd do something similar and only make attack upgrades and utilize his usual insane micro

somehow I have the feeling you think the shaking was the problem here ^^.
He shaked it pretty well, the actual opening was the problem ;-)

I don't celebrate at all with champaign (ok new year) but opening a bottle never occured hard to me, even as a kid when my parents allowed me to try it. Possibly a cultural thing

SO SO SO FUCKING much.

I still remember seeing him live at ESWC being denied his win by MaNa and is shitty colossus timing..back then forGG was full of potential, you could feel it but he wasn't using it all.
As time passed he got better and better and it feels like he finally let it all go at this tourney.
