... made me wonder, has a progamer ever died while competing? Any near misses? uh... i have no idea, but that seems like a far far lower probability than a death from a real sport, especially a contact sport or anything where you can get hit by a ball or other playing implement. you can make whatever argument you want about esports being physically demanding, but i think an ~18-22 year old having a heart attack or something (what else would it be?) while progaming is astronomically unlikely
pretty interesting question though. maybe a better question is what's the worst injury someone has had while gaming?

Hoping Jaedong can for once bring some good plays. He's been foreigner rank this year.
But Life to take it all, of course.

The biggest danger I would see in e-sports is an unhealthy lifestyle or psychological stress because a cricket player still gets a lot of fesh air and exercise. But the real question is if chess is more dangerous then sc2.

I think Chess players are more susceptible to mental problems later on. Probably the isolation and immense calculation puts stress on the brain.
Look at fisher etc. Furthermore a british player called Tony Miles actually tried to break in to 10 Downing Street because he thought the government was out to get him.
Perhaps this is the risk SC2 players face

Only doing polls for main stream games, as a lot of people won't be watching 4 streams at once and I don't feel like making 120 polls
