I wonder if both these players know that this game is meaningless (for advancement). I know especially for Snute who has nothing on the line but pride it would be tough to get motivated. At least Jjakji is playing for seeding

Dont mind me, just posting two completely unrelated images

Mapscore rather than head to head, 5 man round-robin groups with tie-breakers. Christ it's like 2010 all over again. Beat the top 2 players and lose the group anyway? Seems legit.
It's unfortunate for Impact. But the order of the Tie-Breaker didn't matter at all here.

Using the format used in most major sports competition, how dare we? Map-score over H2H secures, that the players with the best skillset advance, not the ones, beating others in H2H, if their style counters the others. A 5x 2-2-situation is alwys frustrating for someone, but don't blame it on the format. The format is terrible and there's a reason only Dreamhack, the tournament with the worst formats uses it. The format is of exactly the same style of every major Football competition, just with a different amout of players.

7 bunker defense is solid.

Guys, stop blaming the format. The foreigners just played pretty bad. If they did well, we wouldn't be complaining about the format.

3 GSL champions advancing over 2 non-GSL champions.
I see the pattern.
