In form jjakji could also do it, his TvZ is great.

Nah, and one of them (if not both) won't make it out of the group stage anyway

It's just such a shitty format. Ahh yes the top 2 advancing from that group? Both of them lost to the player that is now out. Common sense!

Mapscore rather than head to head, 5 man round-robin groups with tie-breakers. Christ it's like 2010 all over again. Beat the top 2 players and lose the group anyway? Seems legit.

Using the format used in most major sports competition, how dare we? Map-score over H2H secures, that the players with the best skillset advance, not the ones, beating others in H2H, if their style counters the others. A 5x 2-2-situation is alwys frustrating for someone, but don't blame it on the format.

If you're running a 5 man round robin, I think all tiebreakers should be decided by another match, not by head-to-head or map score, which I find arbitrary.

What is with this guy?

This guy paid for a player's flight so that he could compete and show some results. I don't necessarily share the same anger at the format but I very much understand TB's anger.

Its really sad for Impact, he is a cool guy and i would have liked to see him advance.
But to be honest, i favour map score over head-to-head. Might be because i am a huge football fan though..

yeah i don't see how head to head would work considering everybody beat everybody else. Definitely tiebreakers are probs the fairest way.

I kinda like this format though, every match matters. For example if Solar had at least take one map from MC, he would be the one to advance now.

The format is terrible and there's a reason only Dreamhack, the tournament with the worst formats uses it.

Next time I'll just withdraw $1,300 from the bank and set it on fire. It'll have the same outcome.
