Viewer count was highest when Twitch arbitrarily jumped the number to 150K viewers.

Oh I was talking about how it was ~45k during the quarterfinals. Didn't see the random 150k spike O.o

Ah yeah well the finals is Korean vs. Korean TvT, so no wonder people signed off

What? Are you telling me that fans like to see local talent play more than the best players showing the best games all the time? But I was told that this is why region-lock was a terrible idea that would spectacularly fail and kill the game once and for all!

How can you kill that which is already dead :O

that stuff doesn't matter when your country, on its own, has the biggest scene, the most competitive and had the most "passion". i think starcraft owes it to Korea

i mean, we have spanish streams, french streams, german streams for lots of events. i think a korean stream to reach out for that audience would be nice, for them.

bridging the gap, ya know?

also, that crowd is so small

i hate that this is what starcraft has become

it depends on where you go, iem toronto was great. proleague finals was great. not every event is going to be huge, even in 2012 we had events that were like this or worse, like http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/IEM_Season_VII_-_Singapore

I for one am not watching because there is no zerg or foreigner playing. Bored of all the TTPP finals during 2014.

There have been 11 terran finalists and 11 zerg finalists in 2014 in premier tournaments

I meant that they are much less interested scene outside of russia than other countries.

His Code S run was Terran-free. Funnily enough, the Terran he won in Code A was TY.
