Yea, but a lot of stuff is overrated, I just don't buy into that soo I can enjoy it more :D
But there is mre overrated stuff, Sword Art Online for example, started out pretty good, got mediocre and then went straight down into the hell where the all the Death Note episodes after 25 are still burning!
Favorite Anime for me still is Gintama, and noone hypes that shit :D

Nothing I would assume, the main thing about his friend was that he doesn't watch anime, but I guess he did throw that in to give us more context to that friend!
