He played quite well against TRUE who's one of the best Z in the world and showed some great form against PartinG before crumbling, probably part mentally part physically. I'm not really worried for him, he'll flourish again with korean style training and seems already pretty far on his way to recovery.

I feel like once someone figures out TRUEs game, he's going to get crushed. That or the meta will shift. I feel like Zest probably spent a good deal of time looking into how to beat his queen/ultra style after getting stomped last season. That said I can not figure out how he beat TY with ling bane. I think TY had terrible splits but I'll have to rewatch to see if that was the case. I'm not sure you can be too hard on Dear after losing to TRUE, who destroyed the group and went 3-2 v Parting - who is a PvP master. If Parting lost the last game the conversation would have changed.

TRUE seems to be a master of adaptation and I wouldn't be surprised to see him still one step ahead of his future opponents' preparation. His play isn't only gimmicks but intelligent play combined with very good micro and impressive decision making. We'll see but I have high expectations for him, semifinals at least. As a matter of fact all JinAir (Cure, TRUE, sOs, Maru) players looked extremely good so far, I'm excited to see Avenge tomorrow. For Dear, I wasn't hard on him at all, on the contrary, he nearly got out of this extremely hard group while looking dominant against PartinG three games in a row. It's no small feat. He's on his way to finding his outstanding shape of end 2013 again.

So true even though I love Effort, though knowing he's known as Falcon Zerg in korea makes me think of him as a falcon now
