OlimoLeague is a weekly Korean online tournament for StarCraft II players run by Olimoley . Hosted every Saturday night, OlimoLeague is a single elimination, best of 1 format until the round of 16. The round of 16 is best of 3 format with the finals being a best of 5. Players of any region can participate in the tournament, but the default server is KR server.
In addition to the weekly tournaments, a $500 monthly final will be hosted at the end of each month with the top weekly contestants. Participants are determined by how many points they've accumulated from the weekly tournaments.

Hmm.. the number of participants for the first tourney was quite disappointing, wasn't it? I hope there will be more registrations for the next one, especially Korean talents. But we will see!

I guess so, but I think it was quite enjoyable all the same. A good enough number to have a good tournament, not enough to be overwhelming.
Some teams that participated in Proleague are on break right now as well, which is why the numbers weren't that hearty. The numbers will continue to grow as more and more Koreans learn about the tournament through word of mouth (which is how most of them learn about tournaments anyways).

Halfway through the week and 29 players signed up so far! Things are looking good 
Since the amount of participants seems to be holding steady, I've added one more stream - Millenium TV will be casting the tournament in French.

Glad that we have a French stream, although I am a little dissapointed that O'Gaming aren't covering this, but I suppose that would just be being greedy!
I can't wait to watch my first ever OlimoLeague (I missed #1 because I was away  )

Yes. It was Journey's map pick and after consulting with both of them Penguin asked for a regame. It's unfortunate for Journey, but it's written clearly in the rules (both English and Korean) and he's participated in OlimoLeague #1. Map pool never changed. Journey still has map pick since he lost game 2.
