Also forgetting the obs and fucking up his macro during the push don't really make a case for him. I think he must have believed that there were too many units or a backstab or something. Why else would he get two cannons and back home while flying around with the prism? yeah, but what made him think that? If that's the case, it was just a blind assumption. And with recall, there's no need to not push out. I have no idea... The Phoenix scout somehow? He didn't see so many things, but.. I guess he thought there would be a swell of lings or something coming to surround him? I have no idea. But it's the only thing that makes sense.
well, building one canon is standard after a gateway expand with an Immortal allin is pretty standard I think. Maybe he just had money left over because his gates were late and thought, whatever, just make a second one.

People like Parting just go yolo and skip the cannon. And no Protoss ever builds an extra cannon if they can help it. ; ) They were also placed weirdly in an anti-Roach/ling bust position.
