2014 Red Bull Battle Grounds: Detroit/Qualifier -With Redbull Battle Grounds Detroit coming up, we are offing an opportunity for one player from North America to receive the chance of a life time all expense paid trip to the event! There is only one tournament, so don't miss out! Full info below!
DET Cup Restrictions
- You must be from United States, Mexico, or Canada (Excluding Quebec)
- You must be 18 years of age when the cup begins.
- You must be currently in Diamond League or higher on Starcraft 2 Ladder
- Cup is limited to 512 people, single elimination.
- You must play on the valid battle.net account attached to your ESL profile
- 1st place receives an all expense paid trip to Redbull Battle Grounds Detroit.

Qualifier FAQ
- You MUST check-in to receive a spot in the qualifier. Check-ins opens 1 hour before the cup starts.
Next check-in July 17th 1:00 pm EDT / 10:0 am PDT: DET cup: www.nationalesl.com/us/redbull/sc2/det_qualifier/checkin - Immediately after checking in, sign into battle.net and join channel Redbull1 (or Redbull2, Redbull3, etc if the previous channel is full)
- All replays must be uploaded. This is how the system advances you in the brackets. Your battle.net account MUST match the one on your ESL profile!
- Replays are uploaded by clicking the "VS" on your match in the brackets.

Map Selection Rules:

Best of 3 in all rounds.
In a Best of 3, a veto (removal and pick) system is used. The high seeded player(seeds can be found at round 1 on the grid page) decides who starts veto. Whoever starts veto also gets first map pick. Players take it in turn removing maps until only 3 maps remain in a best of 3. Whoever veto'ed first also picks first map. Second map is chosen by player who veto'd second. Maps are played in order they are picked. The remaining map is played last.
