Oh my god, this is awesome! This reminds me of that recent shoutcraft invitational, only I care about these players more. I hope you guys get lucky like they did and end up with an unusually good selection of games.
I consider MC an almost sure invite here if you're also bringing in people like MMA and the Dong. Some people are tired of seeing him everywhere but I love it. Stork is also a great pickup, nice to see he's starting to participate in foreign/online tourneys.

I know T__T We asked everyone, but so many were busy, travelling, or already committed to something else. I'm still pretty happy with the ones we got, however
I consulted a lot of admin friends, that work on the bigger tournaments like DH, IEM, WCS etc to see how the best way to handle this would be. We seeded players that required scheduling (ex: Hyun can't play on the 23rd, so he needed to be in groups C or D) and placed 1 terran per group. From there it was random draw.
One small change - due to Stork's IEM schedule, we may have to swap him with JYP in groups, this will be confirmed at the end of this week at the latest. We'll be working to make sure all players have a comfortable schedule and are 100% aware of start times in their local time zones.

Be sure to get people warned (typically Reddit) on the 23
One thing though.... who is Journey?
Nobody of much note just yet. He's one of the players let go from SKT when they were downsizing.
His most notable accomplishment is probably knocking Dear into code B last season and playing some decent matches against Solar and ByuL despite going 0-4 against both of them. Since then he hasn't done a whole lot except 4-1 Impact and shark around in qualifiers.
Personally, I think he's a player to look out for in the future. For someone totally unheard of before he was impressive in code A. Hyun will probably kill him, but I think he might take out JYP and Revival to advance from his group.
Bomber, Stork and Life are the favourites here in my book. MMA, HyuN and Oz can compete for the gold if they are in a good place right now. The rest, including JD are pretty much underdogs.
A: Bomber, Stork (lol group of death) B: MMA, Jaedong C: Life, Supernova D: HyuN, Revival
Wow, nice! I wish Scarlett was in there for the Canadian pride, and I wish there were more Terrans (where's my boy Taeja at?), but overall this is pure awesome. I hope rifkGrub will be casting!
Maaaaaaaannnnnn. Group A/Stork & Bomber happens between 5am and 9am for me. >.<; The only group I really care about. Looks like I'm coming into work super early next Wednesday.
JYP and Stork have swapped places here's why: Stork & Solar both are attending IEM and were worried about possible delays in getting home in time to play. Solar was already on Day 2 so he was not effected by this, but Stork has been swapped to ensure that he gets time to get home.
Life and TLO have swapped places here's why: Life's Code A group is the same as his original Group for this tournament, and rather than have him drop I asked if TLO was willing to swap - as it turns out, day 2 works better for him than his original group in day 1. Both players win in this trade.

Adding on to these changes we have an additional one (shuffling these groups like decks of cards!) I just want to express that the original groups were originally all set for the players involved, but they forgot to account for their Code A matches and such. Our #1 goal of the tournament is to make sure everyone is comfortable, and not splitting tournaments in order to play.
Journey and MMA have swapped due to complications regarding the Hong Kong WCS Event. (MMA would have had to forfeit otherwise). Journey will now be playing in Group B and MMA will be in Group D
Before the group changes, Tempo & I started to collaborate on a hype video for the groups. Even though the groups in the video are no longer accurate, it still hypes up the players involved, so I think the mission is still accomplished!

Simply fucking incredible. Well done.
I can't wait to watch this tournament and I hope this video generates the hype this tournament deserves.
