Remember their meme contest? Remember when they decided for April fools to have one of their players accuse the team of fraud?

IMO shows a mental state for incontrol where he will never be semi competitive again, and is more suited to cast/host/stream. Because there was more people involved than that. At the time nobody was responding and I was alone. So rather than try and buy time for something that I had no evidence would change and drag out the embarrassment but also waste more of Take's teams time and Millenium I decided to call it like it was.. we didn't have a team. Please don't try and blame me for this. I was in a bad spot and I made the most unselfish choice I thought I could.

Though you could've said you had violent diarrhea and you need 30 mins to get it sorted. I believe there is a rule that allots this time in the ATC for just that purpose. This would have surely saved face.

I believe there is a rule that allots this time in the ATC for just that purpose. This would have surely saved face. I'm pretty sure that if Incontrol knew JD and HuK (and possibly a fourth) were arriving shortly after he forfeited, he would just tell them like it is "I'll play the first game, others will be arriving shortly to play the other games". What if they didn't show up and he played the first game? EG would have to forfeit game 2-4 and let incontrol be ace again. This situation is probably even more ridiculous than just forfeiting. He had to make a call on his own and as far as he knew no one was coming, so I can only agree with his call. Hindsight is always easier. I agree with the assessment that EG is more of a tourney team. Last year they had an incredibly solid line-up of Revival, Alive & Oz to fall back on for team leagues. Now they mostly have a team who travels around the world looking for tournaments to win, trying to combine that with real life. They don't seem to have many players who are always available anymore, so a teamleague is difficult.

Tons of international teams have been doing team leagues like this for years this is 100% on EG not on incontrol but more the players and management.
