Yet he still didn't bother to check the natural to see if Soo would try to go for some sort of 2-base timing when Soo also understand that it's advantageous for the terran should the game last long.

Just because a terran lost doesn't mean you should blame race imba. A terran losing to all-in due to supreme greed in a situation where he doesn't even need to be greedy is on the player. Maru fucked up and he has no one to blame but himself. All he needed to do was play safe and let his incredible macro/control to take over in mid/late game. But he didn't. And he lost.

Maru lost game 2 because Alterzim Stronghold's a ridiculously huge map and with cross-spawns. If you want to blame map imba, so be it. TvZ historically regardless of patching has always been more advantageous to zerg in proportion to distance(you can ask progamers on this and I'm certain they'll agree with me). There's nothing Blizzard can do about that except give terran drop pod ability or something that was in the campaigns.

But I dare you to find me a terran progamer who can claim that TvZ on Frost with horizontal spawn positions is imba towards zerg and terran can't win on it.
