Hoping for a good back and forth match instead of an all kill

I feel dirty because I accidentally clicked on NrS for the head poll.

At least one thing can be seen as an improvement this season though, Liquid are no longer the offenders, in fact they are starting off this third week of play against NewRoSoft.
Coming into the week Liquid are looking like likely contenders for the top spot. Their ace, HerO, has gone 8-1 this season against some top tier players and some of EG's players. HerO’s vT has not been tested yet but that shouldn’t be a problem against the protoss heavy NrS. Behind HerO liquid hasn’t had anyone truly step up. Snute grabbed two wins against Mouz but since he was taken out by Dear during the first play week no one on Liquid has picked up a win besides HerO. If Liquid wants to be in contention for the top spots they will have to see their bench players step up, their European line should be able to take games off of anyone and TaeJa should be able to all kill his way through this entire tournament. In the last week we’ve seen both Snute and TaeJa fall out of WCS, the two were beaten by Acer.MMA and ROCCAT.Hyun though so that shouldn’t be too indicative of their form; losing to the winner and runner up of your region are nothing to be ashamed of.
NewRoSoft came through the qualifiers looking unstoppable, their all foreign team was ready to take on the world. Since Welmu’s all-kill of MC’s mercenary team his stock has fallen a bit, he four-killed Empire-Fnatic but was taken out twice by Leenock during the latter’s all-kill of NrS; this weekend we saw Welmu wiped by San in the WCS:EU ro8. So while it is possible that Welmu will be the super ace that NrS needs in the ATC he hasn’t shown that ability yet, for him and his team to succeed their bench will also need to take the next step. Krass, NightEnD and roof seem like a solid bench backup to Welmu’s ace but between the three only NightEnD has gotten a win in the ATC this season.
Liquid should be favoured against NrS but, as JYP proved last week, any strong player can get hot at the right time to carry his team. HerO gave us our first reverse all kill of the tournament last week and, one has to assume, he is ready to do it again if he is called on. Liquid should be expected to send their European players early to get some non-booth experience and, hopefully for the boys in blue, to pick up some early wins. Like Liquid, NrS will have to count on their non-ace players to do something for them, hopefully taking some ground from Liquid’s non-Koreans before Welmu tries to take out the dual aces of Liquid. When it comes right down to it though Liquid has some of the strongest forgien players in the scene and some of the strongest Koreans; it would be a huge upset if NrS takes more than three maps today but fans of foreigner teams will be there to root for them
Predictions: Liquid 5-2
Some things to keep in mind if you like to complain about Protoss or Korean dominance: The only time a Korean Protoss has lost to a player who is not also a Korean Protoss is when Stardust lost to a foreign 'toss in IG’s Jim. Protoss is 17-7 outside of mirrors but five of those wins are non-toss Koreans over foreign tosses. If hating on Protoss isn’t your thing you could get into the foreigner versus Korean story line, head-to-head foreign players are down 27-2 so far in this league, look to Welmu to bring that ratio back a bit.
Realy good preview. I think welmu can win TL other than HerO and TaeJa. I think Welmu can win HerO if he doesnt do his DT builds. TaeJa is harder coz vsT is his worst mu. But its bo1 anything can happen

Thanks for reading, im gladsomeone is enjoying them. Honestly I think welmu has the ability to beat almost any player on the scene. I just don't think he is favoured against liquid's aces and I doubt he can all kill a team of players each of whom is as strong as he is.

Ez win for Welmu

This should be a good opportunity for TL to field its B team.

Do I hope for TL's foreign lineup to have a good showing or do I want HerO to all kill again? Decisions...
