Has vs Jaedong was hilarious! One of the most entertaining series I have seen in a long time.

Some cute and clever play from Has too. Give the man credit where it is due for taking down JD and making it look easy.

Surpised that JD didn't make it he needs to finish 2nd to keep up his consistency. But yeah I wasn't shocked to see Arthur get out as well. Either way that was a tough group. Now if we can get some foreigners to keep me interested in watching that would be great.....and by foreigner I mean white people...like little HuK lol

lol I was just thinking the same. I think I've heard of Has before sometime back but nothing about him being amazing or anything which is why this is surprising.

Reacting pretty poorly to cheese, but he looked like a scrub in his games against Bomber. Maybe just an off day, lag issues, or something...but decisions were poor, micro wasn't great, and just really didn't deserve to advance.

Funny. The flag is known as the flag "a" China. He never specified the PRC over RoC.
This is hilarious though, it's like if Australia had a revolution, and the old government lost but formed a sovern nation on some other piece of land and called that "the Republic of Australia". Then 50 years later they be saying "call us ____, our unofficial name, not the official name that we gave ourselves, gosh!!!"
Yes, we know they are called Taiwanese to make a distinction between themselves and mainland China and to give them a stronger identity, but they named themselves the Republic of China for a reason, and when they pushed for Taiwanization, they still kept RoC as their official name.
In any case, politically speaking, they are Taiwan, China and Chinese Taipei (though I've never seen anyone actually like the name Chinese Taipei before). I know plenty of Taiwanese people who consider themselves chinese, but importantly so, different from those of the PRC. Most importantly, these names are all accepted on some level by the Taiwanese government, so that's the most important issue.
So your calling French Canadians French, and Taiwanese people Chinese is pretty different.

In any case, it's funnier since his flag was accidentally Chinese rather than Taiwanese before it was fixed. These stupid little hissy fits are always fun to mess around with though XD

Now onto a serious note, sad that JD didn't make it, but I'm glad that Bomber did. I usually root for non Korean Asians, but I wasn't in this group. Has is no Macsed/Jim!! He's progressing pretty fairly though. I want to see more of him soon!

Taiwanese people are Chinese. They are ethnically Chinese and don't mind being called Chinese because they ARE Chinese. What they don't like being called is a part of Mainland China, which is a completely different distinction from being called Chinese.
