I read back a little, given the "POWER OF PROTOSS" comments I am going to assume this is another one of those 'upsets' which accidentally involves a certain race. Again. Am I right? | ||

I just watched the VODs and I felt like JD should have played safer especially against a player that kept cheesing him. You could tell in the first game and even in the follow up attacks in the other games that Has doesn't really have that great unit control/micro/macro etc. In the games he won he just basically had too big of a lead to lose. The cannon rush in that picture was JD opened hatch first and Has just waited until he had about 500 minerals and dropped 5 pylons to wall off the natural choke and start cannon rushing. He was able to get 4 cannons up and force cancels on the building spines so it was pretty much gg. In game 2 JD went for 3 base play against 2 base toss but missed scouting the hidden darkshrine and twilight council with his ling checking for spawn location as they were hidden behind the mineral line of another main base area. I mean JD didn't really play overly greedy or anything in that game but it was just one of those no detection into DT doing massive damage. then JD just died to the blink 7 gate follow up because he lost 2 hatches to DTs. I feel like he should have at least made some spores or something because it was pretty obvious that Has was going to have to cheese to beat him. Oh well. JD fans just have to remember that he started off in an even worse spot last season in terms of WCS points (losing in challenger to theognis) and still made Blizzcon so it's not like he's completely screwed or anything. | ||

the miscontrol is probably caused by lags ...But well, considering that Chinese and Taiwanese players always suffer from delays, it is not a reason to lose Chinese players always have 0.5-1s delays, thats why the iG protoss donen't use storms, which requires good micro | ||

First of all, let me point out, I like Jaedong a lot. Thing is, he didn't do anything right that game. Just mine stuff with your drones and build roaches off of 2 base. I can't believe what I saw this morning on screddit. | ||
