I think it's pretty rare for a 5 star/heavily "yes" recommended game to actually mean 5 star quality. It seems to come up more when a fan favorite wins. Not always but a good bit

Mech seems really good on that map. That may have been a bigger impact in strategy choice. MKP has meched a decent amount in the past, it's not really a surprise to see him mech.

Dream made wayyyy too many Marauders. Pretty obvious MKP was going air heavy composition, still GG and glad to see MKP win

The only people here that think MKP played poorly were the ones that didn't realize what he was doing.
The fact that Battlecruisers were such a fucking surprise just show how many people here have never seen that TvT style or aren't familiar with it.
That was a straight ladder build and he played it well.

He was ahead of Bio on upgrades with Mech. That is a HUGE difference in TvT especially now with Air upgrades being rolled in.
He was MASSIVELY ahead in upgrades.
He didn't lose his CC so his being down a base wasn't that big of a deal AND Bio vs Mech is ALWAYS a supply deficit for Mech that's how the match up is played.

because Dream has less hardcore fans then MKP, otherwise it would be one star.

MKP played that out pretty well, dont know why people say he didnt.
Basically he did something that was a bit weird (2port BCs) and looked really confident. Dream tried really hard to do damage and MKP just didnt panic at all and it felt like he was just like, he was thinking 'i am so much better than you that i dont even care what I do im just going to go kill you as soon as i have enough air control'

So throwing units away while killing a few scvs against a 3 base mech player with 4 Orbitals is "outmultitasked"

Ordinarily it wouldn't. I gave it 5 stars because it's the return of Marine King and qualifies as a "must watch". I wouldn't recommend it for the thread that lists the best games of the year, though, for example.

He held the mid-game multi-pronged drop in decent fashion, it's not like you "let" yourself get outmultitasked when going mech, it just eventually happens when up against bio-play.
