I guess Jjakji's TvP is actually the most comparable to Polts. Maybe Maru.

Near the end of WoL. I forget the games, but I remember it cause I stole the build and won with it on ladder.

I dunno, Polt style is kind of unique.
Mvp used a similar style against Mana in fight night, doing a three pronged attack on Alterzim after Mana had established a third. Mana couldn't handle it at all and just fell apart.
I think Polt is very favored here in this match. Cheering for Mana though!

and he is well spoken, funny and marketable - actually he is exactly what teams should be looking for in a foreign player. I think the main reason is, that he is also pretty expensive, as one of the top-5 foreign players of all time. I don't think top 5 all time though: Stephano, Naniwa, Thorzain, Idra, Huk, Scarlett... I know, I´m pretty late to the party, but since I was watching the game at that time, I´m responding now: Stephano and Nani are pretty much without a doubt the top 2. HuK has won 3 premiers, so I put him in as well. After that, there are 4 guys with 2 premiers: MaNa, Nerchio, ThorZaIN, Idra. Of those, Nerchio won by far the most money and MaNa has the most overall medals, so I put them in as well. Neither Scarlett or Sen has ever won a premier, so they still have some way to go. Sen's multiple 3rd place finishes (Most notably at NASL's and Blizzcons) and his 1st at ESL this year are more impressive than most of the wins Mana, Nerchio and Idra ever had. When mana won ESWC, he won against Stephano at the top of his ZvP reign (and he had the most dominating ZvP in the whole of SC2) and forGG in the final. I don't see how Sen's result is better.
Getting 3rd in WCS 2012 over Curious (Who next season got top 4 in GSL) and Hero in winter was more impressive to me.

He is talking about that weird map with a 3rd on high ground across a choke to your nat ramp. It was in GSL but never ladder. I think.

it was in the 1-1-1 era when protoss had something like 34% winrate in gsl. Mana was like the only protoss to beat terrans for a time

Do you have a document with all these games or just a great memory?

I stole the proxy one from Welmu, but it works with inbase as well. also there is 1base and 2 base version too, and also one which has +1 armor
