Except for hydras, that's pretty much all the units that can be made at this point in time. So would hydras be better? It feels like it's *only* a matter of intercepting the drops before they arrive (which is mostly relying on the terran making a mistake). Once they arrive... what can defend a drop of 3-4 medivacs full of marines in the middle of your buildings? That's one of the big mysteries of SC2 for me. No, lings/banes/mutas is fine, but Zerg has to pre-split his army in such a way the drops at the north are defended or at least delayed by lings/banes only; even behind minerals, you cannot drop if there are already 30+ lings waiting. Meanwhile, you defend his elevator at the south with the rest of your army and mutas. | ||

Then you leave fairly large groups of units at your bases and spot drops with overlords. | ||
