Roaches actually aren't that bad at all defending the Drops, especially in combination with Lings, but point is that ForGG was dropping a lot, not just 1 Medivac, but 3-4, so he did quite a big drops and had great positioning, abusing the map while Hyun was a-clicking, or so it seemed since most of his Banelings were bugged out behind other units. | ||

Then again, what does zerg have to defend again drops of 24 marines? Mutas don't work, lings&banes don't work, roaches... well... no... Just place overlords everywhere and try to intercept the medivacs before? Enough spores/spines on each base to kill everything? :/ | ||

The thing is roaches are pretty slow compared to lings, and his main and fourth being so far away it is hard to defend drops with roaches. | ||
