The Blizzard stream was flawless all weekend, I would say there was at least 100k on there too, but I guess we'll never know unless blizz release stats.

sOs may be faceless to some of you, but it's only because you choose to look away while he was facing you

Dear/sOs vs Maru would have been a closer finals what kind of bs is that? Jaedong beat Maru and Dear convincingly.
Sure JD won two series, 3-1 and 3-2. Dear, sOs and Maru got to BLizzcon by beasting it up in the Korea region. JD got there through the NA region.

That is what happened, the people arguing that point are just sour.
Jaedong used almost the exact same builds and strategies that he used vs Dear. sOs was clearly paying close attention to that series because what he came out with seemed tailor built for countering what Jaedong likes to do in the match up.
He planned better, executed better and also got into his head. It was a convincing finals win. He outplayed the Tyrant.

The overall impression is that, even without the cheese or the mindgame factors, the level of play of JD wasn't stellar. That is the better player won.
JD gg timing wasnt off, sOs had 20-25 Stalkers (2-1 or 2-0, cant remember) while JD had 2 problems, no army and no economy because of the Zealot/Phoenix harras, so JD was between a rock and a hard place, if he tried to make an Army he would not have an economy if he didnt succeed in crushing sOs mass stalker (where sOs had 3 bases up and running) or does he makes drones to make up for the time lost, but that means... 0 army (Corruptors cant attack land, and he had like 10... so at that point it was just wasted resources)

I hope he wins this and spits in your mouths or something :D This guys can't handle the awesomeness of WJS. sOs vs. whoever finals with sOs finally winning a premier. Quite happy to see sOs win. I watched the games this morning and it was excellent.
Great season overall. Let's hope 2014 will bring many more refinement to our scene.

That is the most profound and concise thing anyone has said in this entire thread - well said!

Qualifying for Code S is a mine-field of shit-luck/draws and harsh times, but I'd have no doubts that Jaedong could do well in Code S based on how he has played in the last 6 months.
This weekend proved it. Sure he may get beaten by them, but everyone can take games off everyone in Code S, except for the odd anomaly here and there.

You are correct. Code S is just super competitive. That is evident because we haven't really had a player pull away from everyone else in Code S. Sure you get people who might win 2 in a row, but they still drop maps, or like in the case of Polt lose in the 2nd round of blizzcon.

One time wonder like Rain, Parting, Dear, Innovation, Soulkey and and and. Yea ok some of them won "two" premier Events but that's it. Hype Hype Hype and those koreans can't repeat a Major win. So boring. Hopefully Jaedong manages to come back! Because Jaedong has won SOOO many SC2 tournaments...
EDIT: what the hell is this comment and what is it doing here ? This was made yesterday LOLOLOL
