To be fair I don't think T is strong because of flying buildings but because of high DPS armies in speedivacs.

I feel like everything I've ever known was a lie. Parting dealt with the base trade better than Flash. His units were just better prepared for that situation. Multiple strray observors, a 3rd cannoned andwith HTS. Blink stalkers and dts roaming the map and he focused down all of the scans. What you wrote simply means Protoss has better tools for base trades...

You mean the 5 minutes when he was sitting back while Parting got his 3rd and 4th, then dying to DTs because of no defence at home? I believe it's not completely "Protoss just wins". Then again, I might be wrong..
Getting his 3rd and 4th after Maru killed the 3rd twice you mean? Then was able to just hang out in the center of the map and keep Maru in check because his army is big enough to do so?

B-but he's in the ro8! He can't be terrible, can he?

on the bright side, if Flash finishes 2nd that'd actually be what I'd prefer... if he can win the last series of course. would much rather Flash play jjakji than soO in the ro8... pls pls advance :/

just look at taeja vs rain .. rain played perfectly .. but when taeja also played perfectly .. terran looked really imbalanced that time even though it isnt

That is not the Flash of SC1. His play still seems so unrefined. Strong, but not quite where it should be.

Flash never had planetary walls set up to begin with.

In these games, PartinG is 26–30 (46.43%) in games and 9–14 (39.13%) in matches.

And this is why you don't go macro vs Protoss ladies and gentlemen. Protoss blob too strong, can't be killed.

If a game trade happens at 11-15 minutes into the game than yes, the P doesn't have a stargate, doesn't have DTs and so on.
As the game goes on this advantage diminishes.
Also, I'm kind of sick of people calling "throws" and "overextensions" whenever a P makes a come back in PvT. This is what they do all throught the SC2 - they come back from a disadvantege. It only takes a couple of seconds to land good storms, set up a runby or a nasty WP harassment and regain momentum.
And this is what these guys were trying to do all game long, consistently looking for opportunities, finding and exploiting them. Flash did not snipe the tech of his opponent when he had the chance and it came back to bite him.
This was a great game overall and the "throw calls" are bad and disgusting as always.

Those are nice and all but when you can sprinkle the map with invisible units and powerful spellcasters against a race whose detection abilities are quickly reduced to zero in a base race, you find yourself in a pretty nice situation.
