I blame SC2. Way too easy.

Are people still saying this in a non-sarcastic manner? o.0

flash made a lot of huge blunders in his games .. even though he did great .., him losing was kinda convincing

Flash would have get wrecked next round even if he'd won here. It definitely did not like Maru winning as much as it looked like Flash throwing away every single game of this series.
To be honest, if Flash doesn't get past that, I'd better see him retire. Doing GSL code S on a regular basis is more than decent, but what he's displaying is extremely painful to watch for anyone that's ever followed BW, know what the guy represented and the aura of (almost) complete invicibility that surrounded him.

fuck...if flash retires. time to LoL.
GOD damn it

nowhere near as insufferable as you. and I don't do all of the above btw. check my post history. I'm fairly new to TL/SC and yet you people are easily the most insufferable posters. Look in the mirror yourself

you know what I'm hearing? "Flash most overrated" "Flash go retire" "Flash 0% SC2" "Flash bronze terran" from a ton of people, yeah that's cool ! -_-

Maru winning is probably a bad thing for SC2 in the korean scene at the least. NO ONE cares who this kid is.. Its a big blow.. wrong, sc2 fans care a lot. That there's 10 bw fans to 2 sc2 fans in korea is another thing.

thats why Flash just isn't the best RTS player of all time...
always found that claim a little bit ridicilous

I doubt that SC1 and SC2 are that different when it comes to deciding to either go for a counter all-in or just play it safe and expand. Flash should have just stalled maru long enough for him to get up his natural and he would probably have been fine. It's really not worth trying to contain an opponent who has a viking lead over you.

This is a sad, SAD day. Flash could've easily won then beaten Jjakji to go to the season finals.
This is why we can't have nice things!!

Flash retiring would be a BIG blow to starcraft in korea. You want to see that happen?

Maru opening proxy reapers into 3 command then holding the counterattack with a sieged tank feels so incorrect.
That he was even able to have a tank with siege covering himself in that situation, seems so incorrect to game sense. His opening was aggressive, it was greedy, yet somehow he also had tech to save himself.
Maybe an unintended consequence of some of the HotS balance tweaks.

Well, can only agree with this. But tbh Maru did have some sick play.
