It's sorted by golds, not total medals.

It's not weighted at all so it's pretty pointless. Nestea at #11?! Yeah, right...

funny you heard that. sources close to the situation actually outlined a situation where MMA and Alicia accidentally headbutted each other, passed out, and woke up hours later in a deep embrace. tensions have been running high ever since.
