Stop balance whining. Do we seriously need a mod note for this? Disappointing. |

Of course he does. Doesnt change the fact tho that people will always hate the people responsible for balance if the game is not according to their taste.
I am glad DRG showed how to properly use mutas in TvZ now with the overseers :D

I think the best part of that series was drg looked so fucking happy to win, and so confident in game again. That aura of "I cannot possibly fail" was definitely showing in the game.

gumiho should win this and innovation should defeat gumiho

Seriously? Where are those stats from? :s TLPD
Lol no wonder they're incomplete.
He's 191-95 overall in SC2 (67%) which is more impressive considering the sample size is more than double.

Maybe is have something to do with presence of mines in control group. Drop play also decreased in last couple of months. At least in TvZ. Wut? 4M asks constant micro and is more demanding than Marines/Tanks.
Agreed, it's a very high risk but high reward unit comp that only a few Terrans can pull off with outstanding unit control and multi tasking.
Any half decent macro terran can make 4M, but how efficient they make it means they'll end up dying and getting overrun a lot faster than the rare few Terrans out there who can pull it off.

Yeah agree.
Like ForGG's TvT - its stellar, but its inflated

Insane. Must watch.

DRG pushed through a new mechanical level as far as I am concerned. Shows you that mechanics still make a difference in SC2
|
There's a possibility that Bogus may not make the ro8 this season if Gumiho makes it through. He's still favored but I really think Gumi can take him as well should he pass herO.

Which still leaves my point standing. People who call him a scrub are dumb.

5 star game 1 and 2.
Game 3 probably a 4 star but overall one of the best TvZ series of HoTS.

Not just beat, demolished. That's what blows my mind the most about this series. He didn't edge out a win vs Innovation, he just straight outplayed him. Yup. Insane. I never thought it was possible vs MMMBwop but DRG made it look easy. He did? What i saw in that series was DRG using every new trick we saw from Soulkey, and then perfected it behind flawless macro, GODLY micro and ridiculous intuition and game awareness. Basically DRG played a level of TvZ that we just haven't seen before and anything less than that would've been a loss in typical Innovation Parade push fashion. I saw DRG raise the bar, he didn't make it look easy but he did make it look convincing.
Um, you know sometimes raising the bar is actually the proper way to handle something. DRG made it look easy, but that doesn't mean it was. Terrans will have to step up their game and stop using 4M parade every game like they used to, if Zergs can attain the new bar that DRG raised today.
Ultimately, this is very good for TvZ and SC2 in general, so be very happy that the level of play is continuing to rise.
