Do you guys remember right after HotS release when people were like "Terran too strong in TvP,,medivacs with boost are ridiculous,Protoss can't win".
How times change...
Anyway,congratulations to Vortix and Showtime!

Watching MVP and Yoda and other terrans eviscerate Protoss with multiple prongs in that first IEM was pretty goddamn scary.

I believe it ended around time Hasu got around 5 or so tempests. So it lasted around 40 minutes. Yeah I forgot, he basically cheesed the shit outta Happy Why are you calling a Tempest transition "cheese"? Sarcasm Time to fix my detector! Happy b-day, at least you had your portion of terran winning TvPs :D Thanks! And to the other people as well. I wanted Flash and jjakji to advance to RO16, at least this was fulfilled. (;

How times change... Indeed; which is why time should be given for match-ups to develop, instead of the constant patching we get.

I'm so tired reading LP threads here and on reddit as well.
People are just stupid and the absolute majority just don't understand the game to be able to do any meaningful assessment. Then we get all these imba talks and SC2 is dying kind of trash.
Reddit and TL are just like battlenet forums and twitch chat. If you want read something reasonably interesting these days you have to be super selective.

Anyway,congratulations to Vortix and Showtime! HotS beta: Speedyvacs. HotS release: Skillbat drops (and they were not even THAT OP). Warp Prism + appearance of First vs Fantasy (seriously, it almost felt like tosses suddenly got good in PvT after this series). Hellbat nerf: Well, we see it now.

Whenever I see Terran "drop everywhere so OP" I think back to when MMA got figured out and suddenly couldn't win TvZ.
When a new drop style shows up it will always be OP for about a month. Then the drops get solved.

Couldnt agree more. Too fast patching is doom of good balance.

Anyway,congratulations to Vortix and Showtime! I almost feel like this LR thread is one elaborate troll attempt because this PvT stomping comes at the heels of Happy's 4-0 yesterday and ForGG's 4-1 the day before.

Hellbat nerf was entirely justified. TvT was a fucking horrid joke when they were around.

Yes, unfortunately, the side effect was the PvT matchup was made even more 1 dimensional.

You don't fix a MIRROR matchup by nerfing. Nerfing usually = no one builds it anymore and we see how you see P rely on mass zealots again and terran having a hard time dealing with it. Hellbat DROPS are drops afterall hellbats themselves were not broken tvt, if they would just make mines 1 hit medivacs mine opener would counter hellbat drop opener. But blizz prefers to nerf to balance instead of buffing.

I see balance whine but imo if he all-in so much, a better explanation is time zone (and lag). When people want to sleep, they just do the same all-in build again and again. That is as bad as it was tonight.
