Even if that's the case I don't see why EG wouldn't resign him. He's an immensely popular player who is finally now also playing like a top-class player as well, and EG has the money to keep him around as far as I know.

That's not true, read the interviews with Kespa. He needs to either stick with EG or come back to Kespa. That's where all the "loan" rumors came up.
