I just find it weird that someone that work as hard as Bomber can have such a weak reaction after winning a major tournament. Must be culture. Koreans obviously care a lot otherwise they wouldnt practice their asses off but some of them when they win just look like they dont give a fuck (Innovation, Alive, Bomber, Yoda etc) its weird.
Or maybe they are just so focused that it takes a while for things to sink in, and they don't have huge reactions right away.

Scarlett might be the second best player in the world. She barely lost to Bomber. I wish we could see her play Taeja. How does that even make sense. Do you believe Bomber ist he best player in the world? :x Not to mention that a close-loss to him doesn't make you second best in the world... Taeja also lost close to him. Also 2nd best? :x It was the world championship finals. Winning it gives Bomber a good claim to be the best player in the world. taeja and inno both have better TvZ and at least taeja is better at TvP. it's really only TvT in which bomber is better than taeja and inno, which sucks when they meet head to head. I doubt inno has better t v z, we really only see him playing soulkey. As t v p, bomber is absolutely a beast, no doubt he would stormed first 4-0 if he advanced. lol, inno having worse tvz than bomber? you just disqualified for every discusiion ever. you also make it sound like soulkey is bad at zvt. he is probably the best zvt player on the planet. I said I doubt inno had better. And I never buy this soulkey hyper. He really only beat MKP in z v t in a long time. He lost to supernova for god sake, how can anyone claim he is that good. again, you make it sound like supernova is bad. supernova played the tournament of his life in the last OSL. the point still stands that SK is much better at TvZ than Scarlett, and that inno still has to be beaten in TvZ by anyone other than SK. as much as I recall, he didn't lose a TvZ series since the WCS korea season 1 finals. as far as i can remember innovation only lost games against zergs is because of all-ins .. the closest player i have seen up to date to beat innovation in a zvt without shinanigans is SK ... and SK already beated innovation 2 times as i remember in a macro game without relying on roachbane .. Again I think both are overhypered. Soulkey and innovation, of course no one beat them in a while, coz they only face each other in z v t for a while. And when soulkey face others, he lost as well. They are without doubt very good in this matchup. But that good as everyone suggested? I doubt. Soulkey a tournament results mostly lies in zvz and z v p if you look back.

Terran being the champion Zerg taking the 2nd Protoss being the 3rd race
really fits my image of Starcraft in general. You're right, the last year and a half of WoL definitely didn't have many many zergs on top! edit: sorry for doublepost in WoL counting the premier tournaments we had 37T Championships 31Z Championships 26P Championships In Hots we have 9T Championships 5Z Championships 3P Championships It seems there's some ground for his statements after all... Well, it's more about original starcraft campaign where Terran was the first race to play, then Zerg to Protoss along with Boxer vs Yellow image that I have. It doesn't have much to do with SC2 balance or whatever. Terran Zerg Protoss order is ingrained to my brain, and the result of this tournament happened to match that. That is all.

I mean it's great that he finally won something again because he shows flashes of being able to be a great player, but historically he's been so inconsistent that I have to believe he's just hit a hot streak which will eventually fan out.
I just hope he shows more personality in the future, because one reason that I've never really been a fan is precisely because he's never done that. That stone cold look when after he won today didn't help =/ I laughed so hard at this. Bomber has no personality? Boy you must be new to Starcraft ii
Or he just doesn't think the same as you? Doesn't mean he's new to SC2.
I wouldn't say Bomber completely lacks a personality, but he sure as hell doesn't display any emotion 99% of the time and is the closest thing we have to a robot player next to Innovation.
Anyone who says Scarlett's ZvT isn't on a higher level than Jaedongs is just fuckin kidding themselves. Or they didn't watch the matches. People are saying "ohh it's just one tournament." Sure. Absolutely. But it wasn't just 1 game. Hell it wasn't even a bo3 it was a bo5 that she took the eventual champion, who dominated Jaedong 4-0, to the very limit of his skill and just barely fell short of taking him down. I'm not saying she would have gone on to win the whole thing, I'd say its about 50/50 odds on that but who cares now anyway.
On a different note, this was clearly a huge success. There was multiple matches where I was seeing some of the best games ever played in HOTS for almost every different matchup. I know the casters are meant to hype too but Apollo doesn't over-hype shit and make bold claims like "this was the best TvT we've seen in HOTS". I think it was Taeja and Innovation. God that game on Newkirk..... holy shit.

Poor jaedong.

That stone cold look when after he won today didn't help =/ Are you fucking serious? Didn't work hard enough??? Both SaSe and Naniwa said that Bomber was one of the most hardworking players during their stay at the Startale house. Stop saying ridiculous stupid shit just because he beat some foreigner Also, people are not allowed to like a player because he doesn't have many big tournament wins? Who are you to say that? Lastly, if you ever watched Bomber's stream but also some of his interviews/old redbull events, you would see that Bomber actually has a really nice personality. He's not MC, but not every player can be like that. I can't actually believe you just wrote that Take a chill pill, it's just my opinion man. If he was so hard working, it would stand to reason that he would win more often, right? I didn't say that people aren't allowed to like him at all. I just said that: 1. given lack of results and 2. given lack of personality that I've seen from him (and I do miss a few of the smaller tournaments during weekends because of work) that I personally wasn't a big fan. Opinions can be wrong. "In my opinion" doesn't entitle you to say wrong stuff Lol alright forget it, we'll see what some of you have to say about Bomber being disappointing when he gets knocked out ro32 next season.
I am not a Bomber fan and that was not my point

12 of 17 times Zerg was present in the finals. 5 times they won. 7 major tournaments were won by Zerg while they were in the finals 9 times. Overall Zerg won more major/premier tournaments combined than Terran (12 vs 10)., Nice whine

I am not sure look at the winner is the best way to determined balance. Maybe something like the Ro8 is better.

"nice balance" surely is simply a statement regarding statistics

He would have to fall out of WCS Korea for maybe three seasons and utterly fail in team leagues along the way.
