Jaedong is only really doing well outside of Korea though On August 08 2013 22:24 Daogin wrote: Man Leenock ![]() ![]() I know, right? ![]() He's just so fucking unlucky as well. If blizzard had decided to start the WCS thing ONE season later he would have gotten the nestea award TT Really just hope Chae gives it to him anyway cause he did 10 seasons in a row. Don't know why only he should have to do 11 seasons in a row to get an award for 10 seasons in a row. Everyone drops out of Code S at some point, he will come back. But it's just stupidly unlucky/depressing that he did 10 seasons in a row and still wont get the award. And to start the streak at this point is almost impossible. Would take 4 years.

Well, gg anyway ofc, he's through so he deserves it. Well Ruin and Avenge didn't show themselves to be better than Pigbaby today did they? And Pigbaby showed that he can prepare good strategies in Proleague where he defeated RorO, Zest, and Rain.

Life, Symbol, HyuN, Leenock and even Soulkey are currently on a losing record? Jaedong maybe? Leenock fell off for obvious reasons. Symbol was never any good, his cheese gimmick play finally being figured out. How is Hyun on a losing record? Not winning a tournament means losing record? Soulkey is doing very well... he's lost 3 series in his last 12 (2 to innovation, 1 to supernova) so don't know what you're going on about there. It was expected that many or all the Zerg "gods" in Wings of Liberty would fall off in HOTS, it was impossible to know which ones were truly great. For instance, we've found out Life wasn't the next MVP like many had predicted. Give it a few more months and we'll know for sure. We'll either see a lot more KeSPA zergs doing well, or realize balance changes are needed. Losira I think is the strongest eSF Zerg at the moment, his series against Reality was a hell of a lot better than anything I've ever seen from Life or Symbol.

He routinely makes it into at LEAST top8 (sometimes top4, one time the finals) in the most difficult SC2 tournament in the world. That's consistency right there.

His series against Reality only seemed impressive because Reality didn't know how to raise a supply depot (honestly don't think he deserved code S either that night). If anything, Losira's ZvZ is the only area where he's consistently looking strong. Symbol never good? lol. I guess he'll forever stay underrated until he finally wins something. Fuck consistency right? Never mind that he had arguably the best lategame of any zerg in WoL and had a great run in the final season of WoL and even transitioned to HotS better than most Zerg. No, fuck that, all we know is the cheese that many other zergs do often as well because ZvT is tough... What are these obvious reasons Leenock fell off? Is it because it's not yet the fall season? :p Anyone with even a little understanding of the game knew Life was legit even during a period of Zerg dominance. His fall was unexpected to say the least. Kespa zergs also got demolished in their SPL. So....not much better on their end outside of Soulkey really. Effort shows a bit of promise at times, and somehow soO is staying consistent. So I guess those two also deserve a mention. I'd give it more time to figure things out, but really, it isn't looking good at all in Zerg land.

I'd give it more time to figure things out, but really, it isn't looking good at all in Zerg land. His builds relied heavily on infestor abuse in WoL, and his mechanics were much worse than the other top zergs. So, after watching Losira's series vs Reality, you think there is an eSF Zerg with better mechanics/multitask than Losira? I'm not talking about wins/losses. I'm talking about analyzing a player's games. Life plays poorly atm, win or lose, same with Symbol and Leenock. Losira does not.
