By far the least successful race throughout the entirety of SC2 yet always the most complained about, the first to get shit on. No matter what playstyle is tried. If Naniwa won this with 1 base all-ins Protoss is a cheesy race. If he won it by defending 1 base all-ins MSC is overpowered. If he did a 2 base timing Protoss is gimmicky. He defends on 3 bases and Protoss is a no skill turtle race. The race just can't catch a break.

Well to be honest people should not complain yet, there have been extremely few points in SC2 were protoss have dominated. They were the least successful race in professional WoL and is still so far over all in HotS.

It's alright, finale will win this. There will be no complaints about storm or lategame protoss. Finale will make terrans cry about the good old 4gate.

Should just slap everyone here complaining about the Protoss in the WCS EU and KR. Rain was the only toss in the top 4.
2 Toss in the quarters on par with 2 zergs and 4 people cursed with the race that can't compete. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2013_WCS_Season_2_Korea_OSL/Premier
I dont know how you watch each of the Ro16 groups and complain. Everyone who got through clearly deserved it over their opponents. Then we had last WCS where there were no toss in europe. Whatever. SC2 is what sc2 is.

Yeah, I think Adibesi uncharacteristically missed a few things that would've better explained what happened that game.

You pull SCVs after the storms, after you got rid of some AoE.

Basically, MMA threw it. It wasn't about any game imbalance. Get it, please. Basically, toss was always the comeback race and it shines through this game. So stop calling throws as a competent toss can play from behind, and Naniwa looked pretty competent today. Toss is the comeback race?
In TvP storm could always turn things around..

Yes, you could have seen it yesterday when Lucifron was rampaging duckdeoks main in their G3 and today again in the Nani vs MMA we just watched.

Edit: On topic: Sick defenses by naniwa!

They are not whiners ffs! It's a bad viewing experience with only PvP is all it is.

All-in's and turtles. There's not much middle ground, which is why P games aren't very fun to watch (for me anyway).

People whining about racial distribution are forgetting that we have 4 terrans 2 protoss 2 zerg in the top 8 of WCS Korea, and currently 2 terrans 1 protoss 1 zerg in WCS America ro8.

With TI3 being on the same week end, things were already pretty bleak, but if it's a full day of PvP... Oh my.

If MMA had micro'ed at all from the storms he'd have won. Storm turns things around when you sit in it. I'm also not sure why everyone is talking about the storms because after the hold at Naniwa's third, MMA never replenished vikings in significant numbers. Colossus probably did more damage through out the game overall than the storms did.

Or when Mvp played protoss against Innovation and Tefel. Or when Taeja played protoss against Hyun at ASUS ROG
If you're wondering why Lucifron lost to finale, it's because finale was never behind in that game. He held because Lucifron was killing the probes he had plenty of while his army was doing damage. That wasn't a comeback, it was finale being smart as hell, using his probes to protect his army at all costs and Lucifron not microing well.

Hm, I'm kind of agreeing to this due to the sick potential of high templars. One or two sick storms can make a 20 supply difference, yep. But you have to agree that the point when MMA engaged first time into Naniwas 3rd, he threw his 30-supply-advantage(!) away by missmicro clumping (as well of vikings as of the bio that came from the left side).
I'm not saying Naniwa played bad (though these 2 widow mine shots could've been dodged). I'm just saying that MMA had a huge advantage - and threw it away. With smaller mistakes later, eg. several time ghosts just died without setting off good EMPs or snipes, Naniwa was able to win the game.
