No, not really. None of the games were close. Rain stomped his wins and Maru reverse stomped four more not-even-close wins. It's a fairly average finals, imo.

Only Koreans stay for the award ceremony, i love that !

Yes Maru )))

but i mean seriously, when nearly everyone looked at slayers as a terran powerhouse, when everyone looked at mvp (i still do), prime was there, and now, years later, the youngest prime terran, with the help of his entire team (could even see polt doing so) comes to win the OSL, its a FRIGGEN LEGACY!

I'm so happy for Maru , this is amazing.

Maru's trophy kiss rates up there as one of my absolute favourites. Nicely done, kiddo.

This was a pretty good final. I'm a bit sad that Rain underperformed in the last couple games, his cheese defense was questionable. Losing that one macro game (g4) really got into his head, I did not like his choice of builds afterwards.
Nevertheless, it was quite a tense, enjoyable and surprising starcraft morning.

I personally find it very silly and hope Maru keeps his ID.

shows how massive the mental component to this game is, people always mention it but I think it's even bigger than we fully understand.
It's like Day 9's story of when he unburrowed his lurkers and lost the game, like his hands just did it and he wasn't in control.
Considering how many decisions you have to make every second, a little stress can produce some unbelievable chokes.
