Eh I'm actually not that excited. I don't like Maru but I don't want Rain to win a second OSL. =/

Hell, this forum is full of 14 years cry babies or what. This. Every brotoss champion is known for his infamous all-ins (MC, Seed). Rain is the only one who plays standard and still win. Rain 4-1, mark my words.

Sure, he's floundered a bit lately, but don't you WANT him to perform at the top consistently? I feel there's no sense of stability in Protoss players... Rain is the best shot. And Protoss never win championships so I'd like to see that too! Its pretty obvious. Protoss is the ugly stepsister of Starcraft, pretty much always has been. People are so used to Protoss losing that when we actually win, the only explanation is imbalance or some gimmick. Terran players are the most popular players in general.

And Protoss never win championships so I'd like to see that too! That's part of the problem though. I've seen a few people call Rain consistent and the truth of the matter is he's been anything but in PL. I remember a guy making a thread about asking for stats on Ace Matches and who's played in the most due or die situations. Rain is one of the most sent out guys but his record is anything but good in the clutch matches. They sent him out so many times when it was all on the line, but his record was terrible and the last couple of rounds in PL he did pretty miserable, but if there is one thing consistent about Rain it's his lack of production when it comes to those due or die situations. It wasn't even 50%. -_- I don't see how that qualifies as consistent and he just managed to get out of his last group. It's not pretty, but he'll take it.
