This means very, very little.

GGs all around. I think Rain will shit all over Bomber.

Don't worry guys. His favorite team logo is startale, so he is clearly just trying to ramp up the anti-bomber hype to hopefully overcome bombers law.

If anyone deserves the title it is Bomber.
Innovation is so good that he will eventually get a big win. Maru is only 15 and has a lot of time to develop into a champion. Rain already has OSL championship.
And Bomber is really top notch player when he is on a roll. I just hope he can play two more best of series like that.

Cmon Bomber, you can do it!

0 accomplishments and inferior play somehow makes you more deserving of a title win? I don't understand what you're saying.

Hoping for Innovation vs Rain, will be the one of the most skilled finals we've ever had.

i don't even know where to start...

Or he's just a very disillusioned and pessimistic fan.

Both work!

I find him interesting as well, he's not decrepit but 26 isn't especially young for a progamer. Among older progamers it seems their intelligence and strategy keeps them relevant, Nestea/Boxer/White-Ra being examples of that. Bomber's calling card is still his mechanical prowess, which among older gamers seems a bit rare, I suppose Nada would be another in a similar category.

At the risk of getting torn apart: NaDa's macro in SC2 wasn't very good. It wasn't terrible by any means, but even during his "prime" in SC2, it wasn't uncommon to see him getting supply-blocked.

It was pretty good at the time comparable to his peers I guess, kind of like Puma's TvP before he started using the 1/1/1 as a crutch

Mmmmaybe. I still wouldn't put SC2 NaDa in the same tier as Bomber when it came to macro. The Terran macro gods in WoL were basically Mvp and Bomber. TOP, maybe, when he was in form.

I kind of miss TOP, actually. Macro so good, micro so fucking awful.

Ah don't get me wrong I wouldn't have had Nada as a macro god, but out of older progamers he was still more mechanically sound player than hyper-intelligent and good at preparation a la Nestea.

Bomber is an interesting case in point, seems to go against the grain that you lose your mechanics as you get older.

Ah, I get you now.

My mind is actually always blown when I remember that Mvp is significantly younger than Bomber. (Mvp is 22. Harharhar.)

Still surprised that Bomber actually beat First 3-0 lol. Maybe this will be his tourney? He's still got some crazy strong competition before he wins it though.

Supernova vs Rain was great! The whole series, but especially game 1. Wow...

But First played like dookie. I was extremely disappointed and expected much more from him. Sad. He was one of the best a couple months ago. And what is it with these SCV pulls? First Mvp was doing it, then Innovation, and now everyone is doing it. What did Bomber scout that made him think he could pull SCVs vs First in the second game on Whirlwind? I just feel like this SCV pull thing is super risky and is easily shut down if the Protoss opens Templar tech.

The SCV train plus vikings and 2/2 timing is quite old (from WoL). It works to punish greedy protoss who went colossi, so you will hit them during that time window where they don't have storm. And you decide when to do it due to scouting the toss. It's a reactive timing, opponent does X, so kill him with Y.

The reason we're seeing Bomber this far is because he hasn't faced a Zerg yet this season. I'm convinced his vZ is his worst matchup.

Wouldn't mind him winning though! Many potential great storylines, but that has been the case from ro8 so no wonders!

Dang, Bomber hasn't played an offline TvZ since May and after that, only 3 online TvZs vs Vortix, Catz, and Bly. I guess we really don't have a good idea of his TvZ state right now.
